eazi-k in La Linea Fair 2003 Review:

After a successful concert on Thursday 17th July at Gibraltar’s Summer Nights which saw Casemates Square packed with people, local band eazi-k crossed the border on Friday to perform at the La Linea fair, in the largest and most prestigious caseta, “Club Linense de Caza y Pesca”.

Text Box:

Playing alongside popular Spanish band “Orquesta Costa Blanca” with over 12, 000 watts of sound and a spectacular light show, the band played all the new Latin hits such as Ricky Martin’s “Jaleo” and David Civera’s “Bye Bye” to a receptive audience who were certainly in a “Feria” party mood! This differs a lot to functions in Gibraltar were both English and Spanish Top 40 hits are combined. In Spain crowds are more receptive to Spanish and Latin music even if sung in English.

The show started at midnight and the two bands alternated sets throughout the night and played right through until 6.30 a.m.  Just in time for some churros and return to Gibraltar in the light of day.

Text Box: This year, through their distinctive sound and vast repertoire of Latin flavoured music eazi-k has made many strides, to venture into the Spanish market where bi-lingual bands are at an advantage and has already seen them play in many hotels and venues in nearby Spain.

This has been a further stepping-stone for eazi-k to project themselves into the professional music business in Spain.

eazi-k mainly specialise in events, such as weddings, private parties, and Christmas dances. They have already played all around the Rock in locations such as, The Caleta Hotel, The Elliot Hotel, The Central Hall and The International Casino Club to name but a few. They have also played in international locations in Spain such as Hotel Guadacorte Park.
